An Internal Struggle Over Palin at Fox News

I read all the comments that are on the web but I am sure if Sarah run for the top spot on Penhouse she surely would win and no one would run against her. Sure victory is what she wants because quiters never win.

This was all phony with O' Riley and S. Palin. He gave her all questions and answers, several weeks ago and told her to study them. It was obvious the way she just, raveled on and on as fast, as she could get the words out. She didn't want to forget any thing. O'Riley let her talk to. Something he doesn't let all guests do. O'Riley is right and no one is going to tell him different.

Why is everyone always fighting? Where are the facts and not just accusations. Why don't all politicians want the best for this country and for all Americans? Why do they have to point fingers and accuse each other of being the enemy? Why is one side always trying to tear down and destroy what we have? Why not work together to make things better. How can they be on opposite sides and yet each thinks they are right and the other is wrong. Why do we have to sort through all these lies and accusations. Can't anyone get to the truth? All these lies and pointing fingers. What about all the lies Obama told and is still telling. And Levi acting like this and claiming he knows things. If he knows so much why doesn't he come out with it and prove it. Quit dangling stuff in front of us and not saying what it is he knows. Someone should be able to get to the truth and quit accusing people of things if it isn't true. Sarah Palin seems like a good, honest person who really cares about this country and all Americans and wants the best for us and not turn this into a socialist country. Why don't people examine the evidence and find out the truth and not just jump to conclusions. If she was your mother or sister would you want her attacked the way she is being attacked.

Jared is right about Sarah Palin. You always see her in skirt suits because her pants are on fire.

Real GOPers will tell you Palin's an embarrassment to the party and fervently hope she stays out of the next race. In the unlikely event it comes down to her and Romney, no doubt he will rip her to shreds.

The Turban Torpedo

Could Sister Sarah be the modern day Joshua chosen by Moses through God to take the chosen people Israel out of the wasteland into the Promised Land. The Marxo-Sapiens that are the Washington establishment have taken the Promised Land instituted by the Founding Fathers, inspired by God Jehovah and made it a vacuous mockery of injustice. I am counting on Sister Sarah to make this terrible injustice right. She could be a woman for our time.

To those ranting about Ms. Palin lying. All politicians lie . . . it is the nature of the political beast, which will cost them in the end. The difference is the occasional lie and the pathological liar. Most in Washington because of their Marxist bent fall into the latter category. It is these political profligates that we want to weed out and put back into the desolate area of wondering.

It doesn't matter who interviews Sister Sarah first. What is important is that she is interviewed during prime time news for maximum viewing. I don't think O'Reilley has a problem with Hannity interviewing her first. The Fox News team seem to be a close family.

Isn't great that we live in a free society that allows us to choose what cable channel that we want to watch, Jared? I, for one, am tired of the constant coverage of our president. I'm not merrily skipping to socialism, nor am I thrilled with the possibility of government-controlled care, or do I think that 10.2 percent (actually 17 percent) is cool. But most of the media does. I haven't seen constant coverage of Palin. Her book came out and yes, typically following a book debuting, there is what's called a media blitz. Like it or not, that's what good publicity departments are set up to do. Because in the end, the books sales and everyone makes money. You know, the capitalism thing.
Were you so concerned when Obama appeared nearly ever afternoon/night on TV? Probably not.
here's the thing - don't watch it. Watch something else or wait until Obama returns to the airwaves. Maybe one day the government will control them and you won't have to worry about what to watch.

I actually followed your links, and here is one of the "documented" lies: Palin said she hadn't yet fired someone, even though someone had gotten a letter from her that said "I intend to fire you." That's it, that's the whole "lie." This isn't even inconsistent, much less a lie, much less on a topic of merit.

This exactly is what Sully does, though: He takes an innocuous statement connected with a known Palin controversy, twists it, adds in some irrelevant but suspicious-sounding facts, and then as soon as she explains herself proclaims "she's lying! If she'll lie about this, she'll lie about everything!" And people like you buy it because it sounds plausible. Don't take the bait.

Now, I know Palin has done her best to pretend that the media is out to get her, and that anyone who does any bit of fact-checking regarding her past is simply the "opposition", but you can't really argue with anything there, unless you choose to completely ignore facts. All sources are provided.

Do you plan on reporting about anything with substance? This looks like a totally manufactured "internal struggle" story. You wnat to talk about real internal network squabbles? Google the names Keith Olbermann and Dan Abrams, and you will find a major squabble there.

Jared, can you give us an example of some of her lies? Otherwise, your accusations remain empty.

I'm a conservative and a former Fox News viewer - but I say former, because I'm really, really sick of seeing Palin in the news and on the network. If someone could alert me when that lying, hypocritical media whore's fifteen minutes of fame are over, I'd really appreciate it.

And as a side note, a message to Fox News' advertisers: if you think people are interested in Sarah Palin because they're conservative, you really, really don't understand this demographic.
