ITV Studios America named Lucienne Papon as senior vice president, scripted television, the company announced Wednesday.

Papon will help America’s continued growth in its scripted programming slate. She’ll report to Julie Meldal-Johnsen, senior executive vice president, scripted and business development.

“We have had a terrific start to ITV Studio America’s scripted division with several highly anticipated new series launching later this year,” Meldal-Johnsen said in a statement. “With Lucienne’s fantastic creative instincts and wealth of both TV and feature experience, we are looking forward to expanding our already exciting slate.”

“I look forward to working with Orly, Julie and the talented team at ITV Studios America,” Papon said. “They’ve quickly established and continue to build a remarkable slate of compelling new series, making the company a true leader in television content.”

Papon previously headed development and production for Martin Campbell Productions. She helped launch the company’s TV division based at ABC Studios and co-executive produced the series “Killer Women.” She also served as the company’s vice president of production and development for film and television with “Edge of Darkness” and “Green Lantern” to her name as associate producer.

The U.S. production flagship of the U.K. studio, the company is behind popular series such as “Hell’s Kitchen,” “The First 48” and “Kitchen Nightmares.”
