Jay Leno‘s Garage” has been renewed for a second season, CNBC announced Thursday.

The unscripted series, featuring former “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno and his “obsession with all things automotive,” will return with 12 new hourlong episodes in spring 2016.

The show’s first season ranked as the most-watched freshman run in CNBC history.

“We are really excited to be picked up for another season,” Leno said in a statement. “We have a lot of great things planned. It will be a wild ride.”

“Every week viewers get the opportunity to ride along with the ultimate car enthusiast,” said Jim Ackerman, EVP Primetime Alternative, CNBC. “Jay Leno‘s passion for cars and unique storytelling resonates with viewers and we are excited to hit the road again this Spring.”

The show is produced by Kitten Kaboodle and Original Productions, a FremantleMedia Company. Jay Leno, Philip David Segal, and Jeff Bumgarner serve as executive producers. Jim Ackerman and Adam Barry also executive produce for CNBC.
