Jeremy Piven says the second season of his PBS drama, “Mr. Selfridge,” is “the best season of TV I’ve ever done in my life.”
“This season’s actually funnier, edgier, and more lush,” the former “Entourage” star says in a new interview provided exclusively to TheWrap. “We were kind of finding our way in the first season, and now we’re taking flight.”

The new season features a ruthless, pompous new villain, Lord Loxley (Aidan McArdle) as well as a club with a wicked reputation. Piven plays London’s retail king in the series, produced by ITV Studios and Masterpiece/WGBH for broadcast on ITV and PBS.
“Mr. Selfridge” returns to PBS Sunday at 9/8c.
