Joy Behar Tackles Her ‘Lesbian Lover’ Meredith Vieira, Says She Doesn’t Miss ‘The View’ (Video)

The former co-hosts reunite to discuss the morning show’s new cast

Joy Behar was quite excited to see her former “The View” co-host Meredith Vieira. Behar jumped on top of her friend of 20 years during a guest appearance on Vieira’s show Friday. The two fell back onto a chair as Behar attempted to kiss Vieira.

“Listen, you’ve always been my lesbian lover,” Behar said. “I don’t care Jane Fonda tried to take your place, it didn’t work. You’re it.”

Vieira and Behar starred on the first season of “The View” and each went on to co-host for several seasons after.

Behar left the talk show in 2013 and told Vieira that she doesn’t miss it.

“You know what, 16 years is enough on any show,” Behar said.

Vieira stepped down in 2006 to take a spot on the “Today” show, formerly occupied by Katie Couric.

“You were my favorite,” Behar said about working alongside Vieira. “You were always my favorite by far and they know that, too.”
