Kanye West Goes on Trial in Funny Or Die Parody ‘The People v Kanye’ (Video)

David Schwimmer prays for the rapper’s soul in “American Crime Story” mashup

Kanye West gets put on trial in a new Funny or Die parody called “The People v. Kanye.”

A mash-up of “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” and West’s real-life antics, the video inserts the rapper’s various rants and outrageous interviews into scenes from the FX drama documenting the 1994 trial of O.J. Simpson.

“You saw the VMAs, you watched TMZ, but you don’t know the half of it,” the video says.

Among the highlights that made the cut: West’s infamous 2013 “I just told you who I thought I was: a god” interview, his ongoing beef with pop star Taylor Swift and his various run-ins with TMZ.

A particular highlight is a scene in which O.J.’s suicide note is replaced with the lyrics to “I Love Kanye,” scrawled in crayon.
