Netflix’s latest repeat stand-up star is Iliza Shlesinger, whose sophomore comedy special “Freezing Hot” will hit the streaming platform exclusively on Friday, Jan. 23.
“Freezing Hot,” which taped at Denver’s Gothic Theatre, is the follow-up to “War Paint.”

Shlesinger’s special — as well as her standard stand-up material — focuses on the inherent differences between the sexes.
“With hashtag-able catch phrases throughout, Shlesinger hilariously reveals women’s best kept — and ugliest — secrets,” Netflix’s press release announced. “From the truths about first date attire, fantasy break-ups and women’s obsession with fall, the comedian serves up a fast-paced, in-your-face hour of hyper-observant and hysterical gender logic.”
