“The Wall” is back and bigger than ever, as a $2 million prize appears for the first time in an exclusive sneak peek.
The NBC game show’s Season 2 premiere airs on June 22, and the first episode back features a father-daughter team, Milton and Aaryn. Milton hails from Cary, North Carolina, and Aaryn is a doctor with hefty student loans who practices in Baltimore, Maryland.
“Coming into Season 2, it was really important that the people who are on have a really amazing story of selflessness or sacrifice,” host and executive producer Chris Hardwick says in the video.
NBA superstar LeBron James, who is an executive producer, can be seen in the footage presenting the winning Season 1 couple with their $1.3 million prize.
“If I had one word to describe this, it is just ’emotional,’” the Cleveland Cavaliers small forward says in the promo.
The show focuses on teams answering questions in hopes of sending a green ball down the wall and landing on cash prizes.
“The Wall” is a co-production between SpringHill Entertainment and Glassman Media, with Maverick Carter and Andrew Glassman also serving as executive producers.
