The audience for Queen Latifah’s “The Equalizer” Season 2 premiere equaled 7.5 million total viewers, according to the earliest Nielsen data. The CW’s “Legends of the Hidden Temple” reboot debuted to far, far fewer.

“The Equalizer” followed “60 Minutes,” which was boosted by some late-running football. With NFL action delaying primetime a bit on the east coast, CBS’ numbers should be considered subject to a slightly heavier-than-usual adjustment. Then again, the numbers for Fox and NBC are even less stable.

Also of note last night, The CW premiered Season 2 of “Killer Camp” and CBS premiered Season 13 of “NCIS: Los Angeles” and Season 5 of “SEAL Team.”

For now, NBC was first in ratings with a 3.9 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 13.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. Those are the initial averages of the “SNF” game and its pregame show.

Fox was second in ratings with a 1.6 and third in total viewers with 5.4 million. Following an NFL overrun and postgame show “The OT,” 8 o’clock’s “The Simpsons” put up a 1.2 rating and 3.8 million total viewers. At 8:30, “The Great North” got a 0.7 rating and 2 million total viewers. “Bob’s Burgers” at 9 had a 0.7 rating and 1.8 million total viewers. At 9:30, “The Family Guy” finished off Fox’s primetime to a 0.5 rating and 1.6 million total viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 0.7 and in total viewers with 6.6 million. “60 Minutes” had a 1.1 rating and 9 million total viewers at 7 o’clock. Following “The Equalizer,” which got a 0.7 rating among adults 18-49, the “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 13 premiere at 9 got a 0.6 rating and 6 million total viewers. At 10, the Season 5 premiere of “SEAL Team” received a 0.5 rating and 3.9 million total viewers.

ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.4 and in viewers with 3.2 million. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at 7 had a 0.4 rating and 3.8 million total viewers. At 8, “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” got a 0.5 rating and 4.2 million total viewers. “Supermarket Sweep” at 9 received a 0.3 rating and 2.3 million total viewers. At 10, “The Rookie” closed out primetime to a 0.3 rating and 2.6 million total viewers.

The CW was fifth in ratings with a 0.1 and in total viewers with 225,000. At 8, the “Legends of the Hidden Temple” reboot premiered to a 0.1 rating and 282,000 total viewers. At 9, the Season 2 premiere of “Killer Camp” settled for a 0.0 rating and 168,000 total viewers.

We do not have early Nielsen numbers for Spanish-language networks Univision and Telemundo.
