‘Making a Murderer’ DA Explains 5 Pieces of Evidence Not Shown in Doc Series (Video)

Ken Kratz claims hit Netflix show left out key evidence

Since “Making a Murderer” made him famous last month, former Wisconsin prosecutor Ken Kratz hasn’t been shy about defending his work in the 2005 murder prosecution of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey.

In this video, Kratz details to TheWrap five pieces of evidence he says were not included in the Netflix documentary series — which he believes may change some minds about whether Avery and Dassey are guilty of the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach.

Since it started streaming on Netflix on Dec. 18, Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos’ 10-part docu-series has generated much discussion about the decade-old legal case — including a White House petition for Avery’s pardon that President Obama denied on Thursday because he has no jurisdiction over criminal convictions in state courts.

What do you think? Should this evidence have been in “Making a Murderer”? Let us know in the comments.
