Malin Akerman is returning to HBO’s “The Comeback,” TheWrap has learned.

The Lisa Kudrow comedy that was recently picked up for six new episodes after a nine-year hiatus is bringing back series regular Akerman for two episodes, according to individuals with knowledge of the situation. She will reprise her role as Juna Millken, the up-and-coming actress protege of Kudrow’s Valerie Cherish.
Akerman just wrapped up her starring role as the young stepmom lead on ABC’s “Trophy Wife,” which was recently canceled after one season.
