Paramount is bringing "Grease," which it is cleverly labeling the original "High School Musical," back into theaters for a special two-week engagement starting July 8.

But fans of Sandy, Danny, Rizzo and Kenickie, there's a catch.

This version of the John Travolta film classic is the sing-along, allowing audiences to add their own voices to hits such as "Greased Lightning," "Summer Nights" and "Beauty School Dropout."

One potential snag on the road to musical bliss: The movie is currently scheduled to hit screens in fewer than 20 cities.

All is not lost if your city isn't among the favored few. Taking a page from its successful "Paranormal Activity" rollout last fall, Paramount is encouraging fans to petition the studio to bring the movie to their hometown via "demand" on eventful.com and the film's website.

In a sign of new-media support for the retro treat, the studio is stoking fan enthusiasm through Twitter and Facebook, and asking fans to tweet the news of the rerelease to their friends.
