Ann Junod Boyd has been promoted to senior vice president of global communications at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
“Ann’s a real rising star here at Sony,” said Jim Kennedy, executive vice president of global communications. “She’s creative, collegial and smart. She knows business, entertainment, technology and the importance of helping the media get what they need accurately and fast.”
Boyd joined Sony as vice president of global communications in 2009, and has helped lead corporate media relations for the company.
Before joining Sony, Boyd served as vice president of corporate communications for Fox Interactive Media, News Corporation’s online division. Prior to that, she worked for AOL, where she led music and entertainment communications. Boyd began her career in communications at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide working on Microsoft.
