MSNBC to Premiere ‘Wounded: The Battle Back Home’ Documentary (Video)

Will air during a “Taking the Hill” discussion on veterans issues

MSNBC is honoring veterans the day before Veteran’s Day with a special one hour “Taking the Hill” special about veterans issues, the network announced on Wednesday.

“Taking the Hill” will be hosted by MSNBC contributor Patrick Murphy, an Iraq War veteran himself, live from the September 11 memorial in New York City. Murphy will look at issues currently affecting veterans.

“Wounded: The Battle Back Home,” a documentary produced by Flow Nonfiction in conjunction with the Wounded Warrior Project, will premiere during the show. The Wounded Warrior Project, celebrating its tenth anniversary, will air eleven more documentaries on MSNBC in the coming year that highlight the issues faced by veterans once they return home from war zones.

“Taking the Hill” airs at noon on Nov. 10.
