NBC has ordered a pilot for the martial arts adventure series, “Warrior.”
The one-hour drama follows a heroine on the hunt to bring down an international crime lord. Throughout her journey, she receives physical and spiritual guidance from a mysterious martial arts master.
From Universal Television, David DiGilio (“Traveler,” “Crossbones”) will serve as a writer and executive producer with Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald to serve as executive producers.
The project reunite DiGilio with Parkes and MacDonald after they worked on NBC’s short lived show “Crossbones.”
This is the first official pilot order of the pilot season. Earlier, CBS ordered a backdoor pilot for its planned “Criminal Minds” spinoff
