NBC’s new Charles Manson drama “Aquarius” has been set for a May premiere, and veteran series “American Ninja Warrior,” “America’s Got Talent” and “Hannibal” are also returning early summer.
“Aquarius,” which follows a police detective chasing Manson in the period before the infamous Sharon Tate murders, will have a two-hour premiere on May 28 at 9 p.m. before moving to its Thursday timeslot June 4 at 9 p.m. “Aquarius” stars David Duchovny as LAPD Sgt. Sam Hodiak and “Game of Thrones’” Gethin Anthony as Manson.
“Hannibal” begins its third season on June 4 with the “Aquarius” lead-in.
Returning competition series “American Ninja Warrior” and “America’s Got Talent” begin May 25 and May 26, respectively, at 8 p.m. “Talent” begins its landmark 10th season, with Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel judging and Nick Cannon as host.
