‘Road to NHL Winter Outdoor Classics’ Toasts Marian Hossa Milestone (Exclusive Video)

Chicago Blackhawks player is celebrating his 500th goal — and his adorable daughter

Marian Hossa is quite the prolific goal-scorer — he’s also a pretty playful dad, apparently.

In TheWrap‘s exclusive sneak peek clip from Friday’s “Road to the NHL Winter Outdoor Classics,” the Chicago Blackhawks player looks back on one major moment from his terrific professional hockey career. The Hossa clan and their extended Blackhawks family celebrated his 500th goal this fall in a pregame party punctuated by an adorable moment with Marian’s youngest daughter.

Who says hockey players are nothing but tough guys?

“Road to the NHL Winter Outdoor Classics” is created by Ross Greenberg and narrated by Bill Camp. This season, the series tells the stories of athletes and coaches from four teams and their journey to two games played on outdoor rinks.

In commemoration of the League’s Centennial Celebration, the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs will compete in the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic on New Year’s Day in Toronto, Canada. The Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues meet in the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic on Jan. 2, in St. Louis, Missouri.

The docuseries premieres Friday night at 10/9c on Epix.
