Nick Gordon has officially been served papers for the $10 million civil suit over his relationship with Bobbi Kristina Brown, TheWrap has confirmed.

The suit, which was filed by Bedelia Hargrove in Fulton County, Georgia, alleges that Gordon posed as Brown’s husband in order to control her contact with others as part of a “scheme to benefit from her wealth.”

“The misrepresentation that Defendant was Brown’s ‘husband’ was used to control Brown and limit with whom she could interact,” the complaint states. “For example, Defendant often answered Brown’s personal cell phone, would not allow her to make appointments without his approval, and manipulated her bank relationship so that he could access her money. This was all part of a scheme to benefit from her wealth.”

The suit also alleges Gordon physically abused brown, “including punching her in the face, knocking out a front tooth, and dragging her upstairs by her hair.”

The suit goes on to say that on the morning of Jan. 31 — the same day that Brown was found face-down in her bathtub — she was “embroiled in a loud argument with Defendant at her townhome.”

Alleging assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, conversion and unjust enrichment, the suit is seeking punitive damages “in the amount of at least $10 million.”

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s 22-year-old daughter was placed in a medically induced coma after she was found. She was recently moved to a hospice facility.

“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” Brown’s aunt Pat Houston said in a statement. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
