Paul Walker’s Emotional ‘Furious 7’ Tribute Leaks Online

The action movie directed by James Wan is Walker’s last new movie audiences will have the opportunity to see in theaters

Universal Pictures

If seeing how “Furious 7” handles the death of star Paul Walker is among the biggest selling points of the movie, then Universal probably isn’t happy that its ending has leaked online.

A number of videos that appear to have been shot inside theaters have popped up on YouTube since the latest installment of the blockbuster franchise premiered at the box office.

Fortunately for the studio, the movie is already a hit after scoring $384 million worldwide during its opening weekend — a global haul 47 percent higher than the opening weekend of “Fast and Furious 6”

Universal has not yet responded to TheWrap‘s request for comment.

The touching tribute that arrives at the end, which TheWrap won’t spoil for viewers, is bringing grown men to tears.

After Walker’s send-off from the franchise he helped launch alongside Vin Diesel in 2001, audiences are treated to a montage of the actor in the series, followed by a message from the filmmakers that simply reads, “For Paul.”

“Furious 7” grossed a record $143.5 million in the U.S., which is the year’s best domestic box office performance, so far.
