‘Pretty Little Liars’ Final Season Gets Premiere Date From Freeform

Final 10-episode season premieres April 18, followed by Bella Thorne’s “Famous in Love”

Freeform has set the premiere date for the final season of “Pretty Little Liars,” as well as the series premiere of I. Marlene King’s “Famous in Love.”

Both will debut on Tuesday, April 18. The first of the final 10 episodes of “PLL” will air at 8 p.m., and will serve as the launchpad for King’s new series starring Bella Thorne at 9 p.m.

King has previously said the final episode of the hit series will be a two-hour long movie. That will be followed by a one-hour retrospective featuring interviews with King and stars Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson and Sasha Pieterse.

Based on the novel by Rebecca Serle, “Famous in Love” stars Thorn as Paige, a college student who gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. She must now navigate her star-studded life and the highs and lows that come with being the new It Girl in town as well as balancing her college workload.

Carter Jenkins, Charlie Depew, Georgie Flores, Niki Koss, Pepi Sonuga, Keith Powers and Perrey Reeves also star. I. Marlene King serves as executive producer alongside Christopher Fife, Miguel Arteta, Melissa Carter and Dan Farah, and Rebecca Serle is co-executive producer. The series is produced by Long Lake Media, Farah Films and Carmina Productions, Inc. in association with Warner Horizon Television.

“Pretty Little Liars” is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by I. Marlene King, Charlie Craig, Joseph Dougherty, Oliver Goldstick and Leslie Morgenstein.
