Sher has been with the company since 2008
Ryan Seacrest Productions CEO Adam Sher is exiting the company.
The departure comes as the company is reorganizing its leadership, individuals with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap. The production company is expected to name its new CEO in early-2014 with Sher sticking around through the transition.
Sher joined Ryan Seacrest Productions in 2008 after representing Ryan Seacrest at agency WME, where had worked for 16 years. At Ryan Seacrest Prods., Sher oversees all divisions of the company, including TV, radio and new media, reporting to Seacrest. He was instrumental in building the company as it expanded its media imprint and the company's slate beyond E!'s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” franchise.
Since Sher has joined, RSP has produced the movie “My Husband's Wife,” expanded into scripted TV with ABC's “Mixology” and added new unscripted series Bravo's “Shahs of Sunset,” E!'s “The Wanted Life” and Esquire Network's “How I Rock It,” among others.
Also shifting positions: Jeff Refold will add chief operating officer to his duties in the new position of COO/CFO. And, Kelly Mullens Brown will be promoted to president of strategy, marketing and communications for Ryan Seacrest Enterprises. They'll both report to Seacrest.
