Shakira’s hips don’t lie, and neither do the numbers: The Colombian singer became the first person ever to reach 100 million likes on her official Facebook page around midnight ET Friday.

“I am honored and humbled about reaching this milestone, because it’s one that’s purely about connecting with my fans from all parts of the globe,” Shakira said in a statement. “Social media and specifically Facebook has helped myself and other artists bridge the gap between the stage and audience.”

The Grammy winner recently posted a photo from her visit to Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where she performed during the closing ceremony. That photo has already received 3.5 million likes in just four days, making it her most liked Facebook post to date.

At the July 13 ceremony, Shakira performed her single “La La La (Brazil 2014)” featuring Carlinhos Brown. It also made Shakira the first artist to have three consecutive appearances at the World Cup.
