As the 100th episode of ABC Family’s ‘Pretty Little Liars’ nears, stars Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell dished with TheWrap about what fans can expect from the pivotal episode and the rest of the Season 5.
For starters, Mitchell teased that a love triangle between Mitchell’s character Emily, Paige and Alison could be brewing upon Alison’s return to Rosewood.
“It’s going to be interesting to see how they all sort of gel together when they’re back at school,” Mitchell told TheWrap.

She added that the 100th episode was her favorite to shoot because of the tension created by Alison’s return, adding that “we’ll see what the welcome party is like.”
Alison’s return also negates speculation surrounding her “murder,” meaning that Spencer, played by Troian Bellisario, is in the clear.
“It was something that I always knew in my heart,” said Bellisario, who knew the writers would never have made Spencer kill Alison. But, she admitted that she tried to change their minds.
Bellisario joked that she’d love to see Spencer “jumping off of a cliff and burning half of Rosewood.”
On a more serious note, Bellisario revealed that she and Keegan Allen (Toby) have been filming a lot of scenes together. Putting the minds of Spencer and Toby fans at ease, she said: “I promise you, they’re coming.”
