Sia has joined the cast of the upcoming “My Little Pony” movie, the pop star announced on Friday.

The bewigged “Chandelier” singer will play a pop star pony named Songbird Serenade, sporting the same signature black-and-white, eye-covering hair that Sia has flaunted in past performances.

Sia joins a voice cast that also includes “Orange Is the New Black” star Uzo Aduba, Emily Blunt, Kristen Chenoweth, Taye Diggs, Michael Pena and Liev Schreiber.

The film is currently set for global theatrical release on Nov. 3, 2017 with Jayson Theissen directing and Hasbro executives Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis as producers. It is being produced by Hasbro’s Allspark Pictures with Lionsgate distributing and marketing the film globally, with the exception of China.

In the film, a new dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 — Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity — embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship and save their home.

Theissen will direct from a screenplay by Meghan McCarthy, writer and producer for the “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” animated series, which debuted earlier this year on the Discovery Family TV channel.
