“The Simpsons” will air its annual Halloween episode on Sunday, which will feature a guest-animated couch gag by John Kricfalusi.

In the opening sequence by the “Ren and Stimpy” animator, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are accosted by ghosts, witches and a 25-foot tall soul-eating monster.

The annual Halloween episode, the 26th installment in the long-running “Treehouse of Horror” tradition, features Sideshow Bob finally succeeding in his mission to kill Bart, only to reanimate him; Homer waking up with short-term memory loss; and Lisa, Bart, and Milhouse getting superpowers from radiation.

“Treehouse of Horror XXVI” airs Sunday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
