Spike Lee’s Michael Jackson Documentary Gets New Trailer (Video)

“Michael Jackson’s Journey From Motown to Off the Wall” premieres on Showtime on Feb. 5

Showtime has released a new teaser for their upcoming premiere of Spike Lee‘s documentary “Michael Jackson’s Journey From Motown to Off the Wall.”

The movie, featuring concert footage of Jackson performing on stage and interviews with those who knew and were inspired by him, will premiere on the cable net on Feb. 5.

The clip released Tuesday features footage of Jackson doing “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” in concert intercut with recording artists like The Weeknd, David Byrne and Questlove sharing details about their relationship with the late King of Pop, who died in 2009 at age 50.

The documentary is produced by Lee, John Branca and John McClain.

“Michael Jackson’s Journey From Motown to Off the Wall” will premiere Friday, Feb. 5 at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.
