Teresa Giudice Released From Prison, Bravo Cameras Already Rolling

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star served nearly 15 months in federal prison on fraud charges

Theresa Giuidce Released from Prison

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice got an early Christmas present on Wednesday — release from federal prison.

Bravo TV cameras are already filming Giudice, her husband Joe and their four children, an individual familiar with production told TheWrap.

“She is home and they are rolling,” the insider said. It’s currently unknown if the footage will land on the new season of “Housewives’ or as it’s own multi-part special, which the network packaged ahead of her reporting to Connecticut’s Danbury Federal Correctional Institution.

The east coast-dwelling reality star served nearly all of the 15 months to which she was sentenced in October 2014, after she and husband Joe plead guilty to 41 cases of bank, mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud.

While cameras will document her holiday return, it’s bittersweet at best — Joe reports for his prison time in the new year, a considerably longer stint of roughly four years. His indictment also orders his deportation to Italy, though the family has consistently said they’ll address the matter after his time is complete.

A Federal judge allowed the parents to serve in tandem so one was present with their children.

Giudice has been one of the incendiary favorites from the Bravo unscripted series since its debut in 2009. She’s authored three cookbooks, has a hand in haircare, and ready-to-drink cocktail lines. She also appeared on Season 5 of “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

Ever the entrepreneur, Teresa penned the memoir “Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again” while in the pokey. The Gallery Books release hits shelves February 9.
