“The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” executive producer Meredith Bennett has exited the CBS late-night show, TheWrap has learned.

Bennett’s departure comes two months after Chris Licht was named showrunner of “The Late Show,” a brand-new position overseeing all aspects of production on the show that premiered last September.

Licht, who is also credited as an executive producer, assumed many of Bennett’s responsibilities when he joined the show from “CBS This Morning” back in April.

Bennett oversaw business and production functions on the show, but was not involved with creative.

Bennett previously served as co-executive producer on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” from 2005 to December 2014, before helping Colbert launch his CBS show last fall.

CBS declined to comment.
