TLC is exploring new heights with its original series “My Giant Life,” telling the stories of four women who live above average lives.
Colleen, Haleigh, Lindsay and Nancy are all at least six feet six inches tall and deal with a range of problems tailored to their size, as seen in this exclusive video for TheWrap. From dating difficulties to constantly getting stares at the grocery store, these women have dealt with their extreme height for years.
Colleen is a six-foot-six-inch woman from San Diego, California, who is looking for love. The former professional volleyball player is 36 years old and ready to meet her Mr. Right with the help of her two best friends.
Haleigh is six feet seven inches tall and lives in Huntington Beach, California. At 23, her world of possibilities ranges from a master’s degree to a volleyball career. Her 32-year-old boyfriend Bryan, however, is ready to settle down and have children.
Lindsay (seen grocery shopping in the video above) stands at six feet nine inches tall. The Los Angeles actress and former wrestler is the Guinness World Record holder for Tallest Actress in a Leading Role. Her estranged father is the reason for her height and she decides to go on a quest to find him.
Nancy is a six feet nine high school student from Cypress, Texas. Her challenges include finding a date to prom and learning to drive. Her life goal is to become a basketball superstar.
