Fox topped the low-rated Memorial Day Monday in ratings, while ABC was No. 1 in viewers.
NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” premiered to a 1.5 rating on the holiday. It had a 1.7 rating last July.
For Fox, the “MasterChef” season debut had a 1.4 rating, down from it’s non-holiday May 2013 premiere, which earned a 2.1 on a Wednesday last year.

Fox was first in ratings with a 1.5 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and third in viewers with an average of 4.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. The “MasterChef” premiere at 8 p.m. had a 1.4/5 and 4.1 million viewers. At 9, “24: Live Another Day” got a 1.5/4 and 5.7 million viewers.
ABC and NBC tied for second in ratings, each with a 1.3/4. ABC was first in viewers with 5.3 million. NBC was fourth with 4.1 million.

For ABC, “The Bachelorette” at 8 had a 1.4/4 and night-high 5.7 million viewers. A rerun followed.
For NBC, the “Countdown to American Ninja Warrior” at 8 had a 0.9/3 and 3 million viewers. The “Ninja Warrior” season premiere at 9 earned a 1.5/4 and 4.7 million viewers.

Univision was fourth in ratings with a 1.1/3 and fifth in viewers with 2.7 million.
CBS was fifth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and second in total viewers with 5 million. In between repeats, “Friends With Better Lives” at 8:30 got a 1.4/4 and 5.3 million viewers. After two more reruns, “48 Hours” at 10 had a 0.9/3 and 5.1 million viewers.
Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in total viewers with 1.4 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 1.3 million. A movie was the only show on its schedule.
