Conan O'Brien apologized for doing a skit in which Sarah Palin shoots Rudoplh the Red-Nosed Reindeer -- two weeks after "Jimmy Kimmel Live" did the same bit.
"The staff member responsible for the piece has been fired," O'Brien said in an online apology. "And he has been immediately rehired at Jimmy Kimmel, so I think everything worked out."
