USA's 'Burn Notice,' 'Royal Pains' Returns Set Records

USA Network's two hit shows "Burn Notice" and "Royal Pains" made their season premieres Thursday night and drew their largest premiere audiences ever.

"Burn Notice" returned for its fourth year last night drawing  -- 6.6 million viewers, up 10 percent over its premiere last summer.

The hit series becomes most-watched scripted telecast of the year on cable to date. The show also drew 2.5 million viewers in the 18-49 demo, up 2 percent over last summer's premiere, and 1.2 million viewers in the 18-34 demo, its third most watched episode ever in the demo.

Also premiering Thursday night for its second season, and leading out of "Burn Notice" at 10 p.m. was "Royal Pains," which drew 5.8 million viewers, up 5 percent over its its premiere last season. The show also drew 2.3 million viewers in the 18-49 demo, up 3 percent over last season's premiere, and 1.1 million viewers in the 18-34 demo, up 2 percent.
