The video sharing platform Epoxy has been acquired by the online video distribution network Vemba, the two companies announced on Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Vemba, a platform for media companies to distribute their video content, will incorporate Epoxy’s social publishing tools. Vemba will continue to serve the company’s 87 MCNs and 70,000 creators.

Both companies had previously received investments from venture capital firm Upfront Ventures.

“No other video platform in the world allows publishers and creators to distribute content across virtually every channel from one tool,” said Vemba CEO Garrick Tiplady in a statement. “Epoxy offers the missing social link that our customers need, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the Vemba team.”

“At Epoxy, we built industry standard video engagement and optimization tools for the MCN and creator market. At the same time, Vemba built out a best-in-class infrastructure for publishers and TV networks to leverage video content,” said Juan Bruce, co-founder at Epoxy. “The Epoxy platform is a perfect complement to Vemba.”
