“How to Get Away With Murder” star Viola Davis spends her free time pretty much the way you’d fantasize she does: luxuriating in a hot tub with prosecco and pizza.
Shondaland’s hit freshmen drama went off the air Feb. 26, and in the weeks since Davis has been living the good life with her family.
TheWrap caught up with her at this past weekend’s GLAAD Media Awards and asked how she’s spending her downtime, to which she warned “you don’t want to know because it’s not pretty.”
“Ordering Papa John’s, drinking my lil’ prosecco, going to Hawaii, enjoying my daughter who is saying things every day that are both exhilarating and frightening, and sitting in my jacuzzi,” Davis said.
The actress should savor any moment she has to relax as her 2015 schedule is packed: “Murder” returns to ABC in the fall, meanwhile she’ll shoot the highly anticipated Warner Bros comic book movie “Suicide Squad” and the indie drama “Custody” back-to-back.
Later this year, Samuel Goldwyn Films will also release “Lila & Eve,” a gritty revenge flick headlined by Davis and Jennifer Lopez.
