A fan of “The Walking Dead” has started a Change.org petition aimed at forcing AMC to reveal which character Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed during the Season 6 finale on Sunday.

“I would like AMC to show us who Negan killed in the Season 6 finale of ‘The Walking Dead,’” Mason Cade Packer of New Zealand wrote in the petition’s description. “We want this either in an interim episode that borders Season 6 and 7, or a short R-Rated webisode that shows us the death in all it’s bloody glory. Either of these are fine as long as it’s released before May 30th.”

At the time of this publishing, the petition has amassed 1,420 signatures toward its goal of 1,500. Of course, not everyone who has signed it is taking it seriously.

“I am not really signing, I just wanted to say this is the stupidest thing I ever saw,” wrote one respondent in the comments section.

“I am so upset, I have nothing better in my life and I really wanted to see a fictional character get his brains smashed in, I can’t wait 6 months because I am a whiny little bitch boy with no patience…. Also is Jon Snow dead or not!” another said.

Fans were none too pleased when “The Walking Dead” season finale ended and the victim was not revealed. Furor over the cliffhanger led many to call the ending “unnecessary” and a “let down.”

But series star Andrew Lincoln defended the ending. “People are well within their rights to feel whatever they want,” Lincoln told TheWrap. “If they feel robbed, it’s a completely valid thing. But a guttural reaction, an upset, that’s the point of drama. I don’t go to a theater or movie and not feel things. I want to feel things.”
