The Independent Spirit Awards nominees are arriving at the ceremony in Santa Monica — and so far there’s not a bird in sight.
Host Patton Oswalt said weeks ago that he planned to give out live birds at the ceremony — before telling TheWrap that he was absolutely not serious. So far, he’s been as good as his word.
