President Obama delivers his final State of the Union address tonight, in which he’ll look back on his presidency and look ahead to a future in which someone else has the job.

Speaking at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT from the U.S. Capitol in Washington, he is expected to give a forward-looking speech that aims to solidify his legacy on issues like climate change, gun control, the economy and national security.

Official guests include a Syrian refugee, a same-sex-marriage activist and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
