“Younger” creator Darren Star has signed an overall deal with TV Land, the network announced Thursday.

The deal sees Star staying on as executive producer on the comedy, which stars Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff, and keeps him on board to develop another project for the network.

The network also announced that the freshman comedy “Teachers” has been renewed for a second season.

Starring and written by the comedy group The Katydids — Caitlin Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert, Katie O’Brien and Kathryn Renée Thomas — the sitcom about a group of elementary school teachers is also executive produced by Alison Brie, showrunners Ian Roberts and Jay Martel, Matt Miller and Cap Gun Collective.

TV Land also announced two new pilots on Thursday: a new adaptation of “The First Wives Club,” to be written by Rebecca Addelman, and an untitled put pilot based on the life of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’” Kyle Richards.

Jenny Bicks will executive produce “The First Wives Club” and the Kyle Richards pilot will be executive produced by John Wells and John Riggi.

“Looking ahead, we’re developing shows that are funny but also embrace real dramatic moments,” said Keith Cox, TV Land’s executive vice president, development and original programming, in a statement. “We’re fortunate to be working with such amazing collaborators as we continue to reinvent the network.”
