Ratings: WWE ‘Friday Night Smackdown’ Rakes in Another Demo Win for Fox

NBC won out in terms of total viewers with a new episode of “Dateline”

NBC’s “Dateline” battled it out with Fox’s WWE “Friday Night Smackdown” for the ratings championship belt on Friday night. While Fox, unsurprisingly, scored in the key 18-49 demographic, it was NBC that took home the highest average total viewership with an average of 2.5 million.

The latest WWE matchup fought its way to a 0.5 demo rating and 2.2 million total viewers, which is the second-largest audience for the brand since July of this year. It comes on the heels of last week, when “Smackdown” drew its largest total audience in a year with 2.4 million tuning in.

ABC’s latest episode of “Shark Tank” also caught viewers’ eye, managing to also secure 2.5
