CBS’s Nina Tassler Says ‘Big Bang’ Deals Will Get Done

TCA 2014: Tassler says renegotiations are a sign of a show’s success

CBS entertainment chair Nina Tassler says not to worry about the contract renegotiations for the leads of “The Big Bang Theory,” because somehow, year after year, these kinds of deals always get done.

Tassler said renegotiations are a good sign because they indicate a show is successful. CBS has already renewed “The Big Bang Theory” through 2017.

The comedy is CBS’s top-rated show, and the top-rated sitcom on television.

Tassler spoke Thursday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
