Who is that scarf-over-the-face man? The new “Hateful Eight” trailer released Thursday may have finally given the world a glimpse of Channing Tatum‘s character.
At the 1:30 mark in the new trailer, a dark-clad figure on the far right appears with a hat and a scarf covering much of his face.
Online speculation has raged that the unidentified man is Tatum, especially since a leaked version of Quentin Tarantino’s script a few years ago described Tatum’s character, Jody, as “dressed in all black” with a scarf in front of his face.

The other characters in the trailer shot are more clearly identifiable as Demian Bichir, Michael Madsen and Tim Roth.
Since the script leak, Tarantino has claimed he has made significant changes to his script so it’s anyone’s guess whether that figure really is Tatum — and why Jody isn’t one of the “eight strangers” identified in the trailer (and the title).
“The Hateful Eight” will hit theaters on Dec. 25.
