Chloe Sevigny will appear as a series regular in the upcoming season of “American Horror Story: Hotel,” executive producer Ryan Murphy announced in a tweet Tuesday morning.

“Very excited to announce that Chloe Sevigny returns to the AHS family as a series regular on ‘AHS: Hotel,’” he wrote.

Sevigny previously appeared in the series’ second season, “AHS: Asylum,” in which she played nymphomaniac Shelley. That character met a grisly end, but the “American Horror Story” anthology format allows actors to return to new seasons with completely new storylines.

The actress most recently starred in the Netflix drama “Bloodline” alongside Kyle Chandler, and the short-lived A&E series “Those Who Kill,” which was canceled in May 2014 after 10 episodes.

Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer will also star in the upcoming fifth installment, as TheWrap previously reported.
