Chris Hemsworth‘s “Untitled Michael Mann Project” has mercifully been given a catchier name.
Legendary Pictures announced its upcoming hacker movie will be titled “Blackhat.” Directed and produced by Michael Mann and written by him and Morgan Davis Foehl, the Chris Hemsworth cyber-thriller will follow a furloughed convict and his American and Chinese partners as they hunt a high-level cyber-crime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta.

Blackhat is an internet term used to describe a hacker who uses his or her skills to nefarious ends; it’s inspired by the old Western cliche that puts movie villains in black hats and heroes in white ones.
