Season 1 of The CW’s “The 100” saw dozens of teenage delinquents sent to a potentially lethal Earth, where they were confronted not by a toxic atmosphere, but by various tangible dangers from around them.

Ahead of the Season 2 premiere, TheWrap spoke to showrunner and executive producer Jason Rothenberg to get the lowdown on all the various ways the 100 have dwindled down — they’re now the 54, as it were.

That would include 52 of the 100 delinquent teenagers sent down by the Ark, plus Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Raven (Lindsey Morgan).

“I suppose it’s possible that we could uncover survivors elsewhere, people who were taken prisoner, but for all intents and purposes, that’s where we’re at,” Rothenberg said about the dwindling cast of characters.
