Multimedia entertainment studio Electus and “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” creator Barry Poznick have joined together to create the new TV production company Barracuda Television Productions.
The company, which aims to develop and produce premium domestic and international unscripted programming, will be based in Los Angeles.

As co-CEO and founder of Zoo Productions, Poznick created and produced dozens of hits airing in more than 150 countries, including “Fifth Grader” and “Buckwild.” Poznick has also hosted OWN’s “Are You Normal, America?” His shows have aired on NBC, MTV, TLC, GSN, Spike TV, CMT, TV Land and Oxygen.
