Eminem Teases MTV EMAs Appearance Via Twitter (Video)

Look out, Amsterdam

It appears that fans can pencil-in Eminem to the list of performers at the upcoming MTV EMAs.

The rapper tweeted out a very brief YouTube clip Friday, in which he pops a cassette tape into an old-school boom box that is sitting next to a European Music Award statue. A snippet of Slim Shady’s “Berzerk” off his new album, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” blasts before he walks off with the trophy.

It doesn’t outwardly say that the hip-hop artist is performing Sunday, nor does his Twitter account or website. MTV’s EMAs website does not list him as a performer or presenter, and an MTV spokesperson told TheWrap “At this time, no official announcement has been made.”

If he performs, and it seems likely that he will, Eminem will join scheduled performers Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Snoopzilla and others.

The MTV EMAs take place Sunday in Amsterdam.
