Foo Fighters Announce Wrigley Field Concert After Releasing New Single (Video)

The Foo Fighters announced the first stop on their “Sonic Highways” tour will be Wrigley Field in Chicago, which is the city that inspired the first single from their new album.

“Chicago’s the place where I saw my first show,” frontman Dave Grohl said in the first episode of the band’s 8-part HBO series. “The first time I ever saw a live band play was at this little bar called the Cubby Bear right across the street from Wrigley Field. It was just like ‘I want to do this for the rest of my life.’ So the idea of the song, and the episode, is that once you find that spark and inspiration, that begins your path in life, for whatever it is you want to do.”
