‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 to Shoot Partly in Spain

Show is going to Seville

Before winter comes to “Game of Thrones,” some of the cast will get to enjoy lovely weather in the South of Spain.

HBO announced Wednesday that part of Season 5 of the series will be shot in the Province of Seville. Exact locations will be announced later.

The show wrapped its fourth season in June and will begin filming its fifth season in Belfast later this month.

Besides Northern Ireland, “Game of Thrones” has also filmed in Croatia, Scotland, Iceland, Malta, and Morocco.

The locations have allowed the show to bring to life the land of Westeros, where summers and winters last for years.
