Jerry Seinfeld Gets Devastating News From Boss Michael Richards in ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ Preview (Video)

Former “Seinfeld” co-star Richards plays the fictional president of Crackle, an online comedy network

Jerry Seinfeld returns Nov. 6 with Season 5 of his Crackle web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” and in a new promo released Thursday, things get a bit tense with the president of the online comedy network.

In the video clip, Seinfeld takes taxis, helicopters, planes, and cars to get to Crackle headquarters in L.A., in order to make a meeting with the network’s fictional president, Dick Corcoran, played by none other than his former “Seinfeld” co-star, Michael Richards.

Things get tense between the two during a conversation about the network’s future. So are “Snap” and “Pop” to blame for “Crackle” not keeping up with Netflix and Hulu?

“Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’s” fifth season features another all-star lineup of comics, which includes Fred Armisen, Bill Burr, Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Hart, Amy Schumer and Ali Wentworth.
