IFC Films released the first trailer for the Katherine Heigl dramedy “Jenny’s Wedding” on Thursday.
The movie, written and directed by Mary Agnes Donoghue, stars Heigl as the title character, who is openly gay with everyone except her conventional family. When she chooses to marry the woman her parents believed to be her roommate, the family dynamic is tested.
“I used to care so much about what the two of you thought, but not anymore,” she tells her disappointed parents in the trailer. “Why would I?”
